Can I ride
Yes. BMX is open to all ages and levels of experience.
The only prerequisite is that you can ride consistently in a standing position and in a straight line.
When are you open
We are open every Tuesday and Thursday between 6pm and 9pm.
This is weather dependent. Check Facebook on the day of riding to ensure we are open.
Do I need an induction
All new riders have an induction at Redditch Premiers BMX.
This covers the rules and safety of using the track.
Some people need more help than others but generally, after one session, you can ride the track independently
Inductions are on Tuesdays only.
How much does it cost
Session costs are £5 for non-members.
Hiring of bikes is £4 per session with free protective gear.
Hiring of protective gear only is £2.
What should i wear
You must wear a long sleeve top to cover your arms. You must wear trousers to cover your legs.
You must wear a full face helmet. We have these to rent if you do not have your own.
You must wear knee and elbow protection. We have these to rent if you do not have your own.
We do not allow sharing of gear. Each rider must have or hire their own.
Do i need a parent to stay
Anyone under the age of 18 requires an adult to sign them in and stay for the duration of the visit.
Can i use my own bike
You can but we don’t recommend it. The track is hard work and normal bikes are heavy. We recommend using our bikes.
Do i need to register or compete
Becoming a member is cheaper in the long run but not necessary to try it out.
We do have a race team, but there's no pressure here.
Do you offer coaching
Scott Beaumont is our coach. As you advance you might want to join these sessions. Check out his page to find out more.
